As you will have heard the gaffer, Peter Jackson, was sacked yesterday and I was hugely disappointed with the decision to relieve him of his duties. Back in 1986, Honda revealed the first incarnation of one of its big dos - a humanoid robot that could function independently in a human environment and ultimately help people in their daily lives.
