A MAN has been warned he faces a jail sentence after admitting a string of child porn offences. Anthony Kerry, 60, of Main Street, Hackthorn, pleaded guilty at Lincoln Crown Court to 12 charges of making an indecent photograph of a child on dates between October 1, 2008, and January 11 last year.

EMOTION must not cloud jurors' judgements when they deliberate in the Shaun Rossington murder trial, a judge has warned. Seven people are accused of murder after "gentle giant" Shaun, 21, of Lincoln, was beaten in a field off Searby Road in the city early on June 3. The prosecution alleges that Asperger's sufferer Shaun, of Dunkirk Road, was repeatedly punched, kicked and stamped on following "a plan to lure him from his home by the offer of sexual favours".

Motorist Vows Not to Drive Again After Pensioner's Death

A MOTORIST who caused the death of a pensioner by driving without due care and attention has sworn she will never drive again. Great-grandmother Mary Allport, 79, died the day after a crash on the A156 at Marton, near Gainsborough, on June 6. Jacqueline Ling, 52, previously pleaded guilty to a charge of driving without due care and attention at Lincoln Magistrates' Court and was yesterday sentenced by the court to a four-month curfew order.
