BLUR bassist Alex James has signed up to a campaign to encourage people to eat locally-produced British food.

James, 40, who put his wild days behind him to produce cheese on a farm in the Cotswolds, has joined Judith Chalmers, Jenni Falconer, Colin Murray and Gaynor Faye in backing the Sainsbury's drive.
