Burghley House is celebrating after its most successful year so far with over 100,000 visitors in 2011.
Another year of exciting events for all ages has been planned for 2012 focusing on Burghley's Olympic heritage. The house will reopen to the public on Saturday, March 17 - every day (except on Fridays) from 11am to 5pm (last admission 4.30pm). Both the sculpture garden and Garden of Surprises will be open to visitors from this date as well. Also launching on March 17 will be Olympian at Burghley - exploring Burghley's famous Olympian, the 6th Marquess of Exeter (David Cecil, 1905-1981).See the full content of this document
