A RANGE of measures to tempt shoppers back to Lincoln's Christmas Market have been unveiled. Persistent heavy snowfall and low temperatures saw the internationally renowned event - worth Pounds 10 million to the local economy - cancelled last year. But now organisers say they have worked hard to ensure the event is easier and more enjoyable to attend than ever before.

Tall coloured banners will be erected to help people find their way around and extra stewards will be on hand to assist the anticipated 160,000 visitors.
