Drink-Driver Given Ban

Summary


A LUNCHTIME drink pushed a motorist over the drinkdrive limit, a court heard. John Ashton was banned from driving for 18 months and must carry out 120 hours of unpaid community work after pleading guilty to one drink-driving charge.

Prosecutor Jill Derby said police breathalized the 36-year-old after receiving a report a car was being driven in Carholme Road, Lincoln, by someone who was possibly drunk.
