AS MANY as eight per cent of motorists admit to driving after taking drugs, according to a new poll.

Of these, 20 per cent have had an accident or a near miss while under the influence of drugs, yet this failed to prevent 50 per cent continuing to drug-drive, the survey by Auto Trader Compare found.
