THE last airworthy Vulcan has now received its permit to fly - nearly a week after it was needed for the Waddington Air Show.

The problem-plagued Avro XH558 was due to fly at the RAF Waddington International Air Show on Saturday and Sunday last week, but failed to complete paperwork required by the Civil Aviation Authority for the licence to fly.
