AN UNEMPLOYED man has appeared in custody at a Lincoln court after stealing sweets and cake from a city supermarket.

Kenneth James O'Sullivan, 29, went into Somerfield in High Street, Lincoln, on Tuesday and took products to the value of Pounds 3.81, Lincoln Magistrates' Court heard.
