This is not the first time Nora Hardwick has hit the headlines.

In 2005, the Echo reported that Nora - then 100 - was still driving around Ancaster in her Nissan Sunny. The centenarian learned to ride a motorbike when she was 16 and a car when she was 18. In 84 years, has never had a blemish on her licence.
