HORSE chestnut trees in Lincoln are being hit by a double whammy of burrowing bugs and a harmful fungus.
Increasing numbers of the city's horse chestnut trees have been spotted suffering from leaf miners - microscopic caterpillars eating the leaves. And a deadly fungus known as bleeding canker, which produces a red-coloured fluid that oozes from the bark, is also believed to have arrived.See the full content of this document
