It is with regret that I write regarding the all too familiar problem of cancer sufferers and the much publicised and unfortunate circumstances regarding Corporal Nick Lock's death (August 7).
Can someone please explain to we taxpayers why the NHS funds all the health tourists from abroad (none of whom have paid a single penny into the system) while there are people such as Cpl Nick Lock crying out for the chance to live but denied that chance due to it not being cost-effective? The people who have paid into the system all their lives should be given the opportunity to have these drugs no matter what the cost, even if they are only 25 per cent successful.See the full content of this document
