Summary


A New report on last summer's floods has dealt a blow to the future of Lincolnshire's fire control centre.

Chief Fire and Rescue adviser Sir Ken Knight said the volume of 999 calls taken during the deluge that swamped parts of Lincolnshire last June stretched services beyond their capacity and "hampered operational effectiveness".
