WOULD-BE sports coaches in Lincolnshire are being encouraged to take part in a course to learn new skills. Lincolnshire Sports Partnership is running two ten-week multi-sports courses for adults in Gainsborough and Ingoldmells as part of Grow, a scheme to improve learning among people aged 19 and above in the county. Lincolnshire Sports Partnership chief executive Janet Inman said: "The work that Grow already achieves is fantastic, but we wanted to make sure there were sports opportunities on offer alongside the other subject areas provided."
After completing the course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance and links to clubs and coaching opportunities that may be suitable for their requirements. Those taking part will have the chance to try five or six different sports and may have the opportunity to concentrate on one particular sport if there is enough demand.See the full content of this document
