MEETING the Red Arrows during show days is exciting enough for fans, but one lucky reader will have the chance to spend the entire day at the team's home at RAF Scampton, thanks to a special competition, only in this supplement. Winners will be given a presentation on the activities of the Red Arrows by one of the squadron's officers; sit in on the pilots' pre-sortie brief; watch a flying display practice if the weather allows it; have a photograph taken with the pilots in front of one Hawk jets; watch the pilots' debrief session; enjoy lunch with the team; and have a guided tour the Hawk aircraft by one of the engineers. The prize will be taken up at a later date in the year, set at a time to fit around the team's operational commitments. The closing date for all entries is 11.59am Friday, July 16.
